VOLUNTEERS
2022 Volunteer Registration is Open!
Registration is by paper again, no online registration for 2022.
Volunteering at Camp Arrowhead is a truly rewarding experience. If you will be entering 9th grade, 14 years or older by the end of summer 2021 and would like the opportunity to volunteer, please consider obtaining an application for the summer.

Having volunteers spend one-on-one time with campers creates a fun-filled summer for everyone involved. The friendships and connections that you will make with campers, volunteers and staff are long-lasting. As a volunteer at Camp Arrowhead, you will have the opportunity to be a part of extraordinary events in the lives of many campers.

Without the support and assistance from our volunteers the Camp Arrowhead program would not be a success.

Volunteer Training
In addition to the application process, all new volunteers attend an orientation in May and all volunteers go through a two-day mandatory training prior to the start of camp. During this time, volunteers are given the opportunity to learn about individuals with disabilities and gain a better understanding about the population served at Camp Arrowhead.
Activities include: icebreakers, team building games, a trial day of Camp, a swim test, general overview of various disabilities, a question/answer session and much more!

Applications are reviewed by our Volunteer Coordinator.

Applications will only be accepted if they are complete (this includes Health Forms, concussion training certificate, current physical and immunizations, CORI/SORI).
​
Please note that in order to hand in your volunteer application you must have ALL forms attached.
ALL volunteers must complete an application and attend a mandatory two-day training at the Camp Arrowhead Site
NEW volunteers must complete an application along with an additional essay and attend an additional mandatory meeting.
